HOUSE   + VAASTU =  HAPPY HOME

There is a big difference between a Home & House.
When a family lives in House & has the blessings of the Divine power then it is known as a HAPPY HOME otherwise it is known as a Haunted House. To attract the blessings of the Divine Powers we can take the help of Vaastu Shastra/Feng Shui which are faith oriented Phenomnen

 SITE SELECTION- Preferably it should be located near a Sea, River, Lake, in a area which has moderate temperature area in most parts of the year

CHOICE OF LAND-  Preferably the Land should be raised on three sides but should have a mild slope on the North East Side. Direction of Road is considered very Important in Vaastu. Some of the Guidelines which may be considered are given in the following diagrams

SHAPE OF PLOT- Preferably it should be Square or Rectangular with Longer side having depth / width ratio not more than two

SOIL TESTING – Pit Hole about One meter square & one meter deep should be dug  on four corners & center of the Plot & filled with Water in the evening. If the Water disappears till morning the selected Land may be considered undesirable. This recommendation tallies with soil Testing tests (Load Bearing Test)carried out by modern Civil Engineers<however in the present developments in the Civil Engineering with Compaction, Consolidation, Biaxial. Triaxial tests this primitive method may not be very useful for building in the cities but may be useful in remote areas where Soil testing facilities are not available
 
FRONTAGE - Preferably on the North East Side.

DRAWING ROOM - Preferably on the North West side

DINNING ROOM – Preferably on the North West side

BED ROOM- Preferably on the South West Side

TOILET – Placement on the North East side should be avoided

KITCHEN – preferably on the South East Side

BUILDING MATERIALS – selection of Locally available Building materials will depend on the Planetary Position of person residing therein. Use of  Stones should be avoided by Cancerians & Aquarians

COLOUR OF WALLS – Preferably White & cream for Cancerains

DOORS & WINDOWS – preferably they should not be Rectanguler but some curvatures should be added to the preriphery

PLANTATION – Plants bearing white/ light color flowers or juicy fruits should be preferred by Cancerains.

PETS – Preferably white coloured for Cancerians

These suggestions can be appllied to some extent in the construction of new residenses, but in Metros/bigger cities where there is scramble of Living Space a large number of people live in two/three Bedroom Apartments of Multistoried Buildings where any adjustment of Rooms/ Kitchen & Toilets etc. is not possible, If at the time of purchase of the Apartment some attention is paid towards the selection of the Flat then  advantage of Vastu Shastra. In other cases to adjust the benficiary effects, help of Feng-Sui related objects like Laughing Buddha, waterfall Images etc. can be taken
